I have requested a formal quotation from VCA for the testing of the Emissions Reducer.

 In it I have requested that the full testing procedure to be explained and details of the specifications that are required for the EEC Low Emission Small Vehicle category.

 As you know there are two tests one for cars, vans and goods vehicles under 7 tons and one for Heavy Goods. We will only be interested in the first one.

 We have to provide the car for the tests to be carried out on. At the moment I am thinking of using an old Range Rover that has heavy fuel consumption and very bad emission rating. I am working on the assumption that there will be a very noticeable improvement of the readings when the Emissions Reducer is fitted.

 I have also been talking to the London Low Emission Commission to get copies of the Approved Equipment application forms.

 The test will only apply to the version of Emissions Reducer that we give them so I suggest we wait until the new version is ready and submit that one for the test.

 I have located a bank that is prepared to study a Marketing and Business Plan that I am preparing and if successful they will be prepared to fund the testing but only on my personal guarantee for the full amount.

 I will require support documentation from the manufacturer outlining what technical support they are willing to offer. I will advise you on what form that will take later when the draft documentation is ready. I will also prepare draft contracts for the distributorship. This is all documentation that has to be submitted with the Business Plan.

 This is all subject to the manufacturer being able to give a percentage guarantee that the new version is going to pass.

 Part of the overall image of the Emissions Reducer and approval from the Trading Standards Agency is the packaging. I have set up a meeting with them for next week to get an outline of what they require. The packaging will be in a plain coloured box with what we call a ‘wrap around’ cover. The design for the wrap around I will send to you after I have been to trading standards.

 There is going to be a great deal of hard work preparing this documentation and there is going to be a considerable expense above what I have already spent. In the past the manufacturer has said he will equate that with stock but as yet that has not matured. He sent some but not the balance.

 I need a statement from the manufacturer that I can include in the Business Plan that will indicate full support for this project.

 Money.

 I am more that 80% sure that will be cleared before the end of October.
